Congratulations for completing the Adelaide Graduate Award

Congratulations to the 208 students who achieved the Adelaide Graduate Award in 2019! The Award is a free program which formally recognises the employable skills that students develop through extra-curricular activities (including paid work and volunteering). Find out more and register here.

  • Student Care relocation
    The Student Care service is on the move! They will be temporarily relocated to Level 8 of the Hughes building (accessible from the southern end of Hub Central). Contact details remain the same and the offices will be open from 9am - 5pm as usual.

 
  • Have an ongoing medical condition or disability? 
    Disability Support can help with any medical condition that impacts your study. If you're not sure whether this applies to you, check out "who do we support?"  for more information. Not registered with Disability Support? We'd suggest doing it now, so there's more time to set up your 2020 support.

  • Need help with enrolling?
    Enrolment for 2020 will roll out over the next few weeks. You can check when it opens for your degree, find out how to enrol. If you're keen to update your ID, remember that your current student card is still valid until the end of February 2020.
 
  • 2020 Student Ambassador applications now open!
    Are you an out-going, friendly and confident student who likes to talk about their university experience? Would you enjoy working to promote the University of Adelaide? Help us visit high schools and attend career expos to support our recruitment team! Find out more or apply here.

  • Calling all aspiring poets!

  • Maths help during the summer semester
    Need help with some maths, no matter the course it's in? The Maths Learning Centre (MLC) will be open at different times throughout December, January and February. Drop by, sit down and a staff member will be happy to help!

  • Learning Enhancement & Innovation Showcase
    5 December, 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm - Napier Building, room 102
    Learn about the latest in learning and teaching through an interactive event, presented by the Learning Enhancement and Innovation (LEI) team. Find out more and register here!

    Ticket discounts, happy hour pricing and free entry to a spectacular art installation on campus; just some of the benefits available to students during the 2020 festival season. Join the RCC Membership program and make the most of festival fever in the new year!
  • Student garden wins sustainability award
    Congratulations to students and staff involved in the Roseworthy Student Garden, which was 'Highly Commended' at the ACTS Green Gown Awards. The garden was noted as "sustainable, functional and a place for the campus community to engage with each other and with issues of food production and waste". Amazing work!

 

Careers & employment

 

The Adelaide University Union advertises part time work for current students on the paid vacancies page from Employment Services.

Career Services are free for all students. CareerHub features a jobs board of opportunities related to your studies including paid work experience and graduate roles. The Careers team also run employer events and workshops to increase employability, build resumes, improve your interview skills and more.
