On November 21st, Quebec Premier Phillippe Couillard and Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne led a joint meeting of cabinet ministers that resulted in a series of agreements between the provinces.

At the meeting, and in a joint statement that followed, Quebec and Ontario enunciated various criteria that must be satisfied before either province agrees to support transmission pipeline projects that traverse their territory.

Minister Oliver will be speaking to Calgary's business community to outline his priorities for the next phase of Canada’s Economic Action Plan, the government’s plan to return to balanced budgets and continue growing the economy.
