Join the next Getting Started in Denmark on 5 August 2016

Getting Started in Denmark is an orientation & registration event for new international academic staff at AU. The event is held twice a month (as a minimum) so if you are unable to participate this time we advise you to join another of our events. Find more dates for upcoming events. Next Getting Started is 5 August from 8:15-13:00!

Upcoming UIC events in August

UIC offers no programme for July but the next issue of UIC Newsletter will be send out on Thursday 28 July. Please mark your calendars and save the dates for our upcoming events on Wednesday 3, 17, and 31 August. The events will be announced later on our website and in the UIC Newsletter. Remember to sign up for the newsletter if you want to receive a wide variety of ideas for activities, information about the Danish society, holidays, culture and traditions, events and activities, and much more. We always welcome new people and we hope to see you soon!

Expat Partner Programme for spouses/partners at AU

The expat partner programme is a new initiative at AU, which started up 1 April, 2016. The programme aims at giving both newcomers and spouses/partners already living in Denmark a good start and support throughout their stay in Denmark.

UIC Creative Workshop a resounding success!

Thank you to everyone who attended the Creative Workshop. It was a fantastic experience. The idea behind the workshop was to bring the participants together and offer a platform from which any could make known their interests, skills and talents. Have a look at their list of ideas which were raised at the meeting

Opening hours during the summer

Denmark generally slows down during the summer, which is also the case for the International Centre and other public offices.
