Improving opportunities for young people
Before Big Local, there was no youth club in Allenton, near Derby. Allenton Big Local now funds a youth club that is raising aspirations and creating new opportunities. The young people and staff took time out from one of their busy sessions to tell us the difference this club makes.

Active citizenship and community involvement
Get new skills to help improve your community. This accredited 6-day training course is free for Big Local residents. Starts Wednesday 22 February at Northern College in Barnsley. Read more.
Action learning group for Big Local chairs
Calling all chairs, co-chairs and vice chairs of Big Local partnerships! Join our latest action learning group to work through the real life issues you face in your role and build a wider support network with other Big Local chairs. The group's first meeting will be Tuesday 28 February, in Manchester. Read more.
