No images? Click here 23 June 2021 Kia ora koutou katoa, At 6pm today the Wellington region will move to COVID-19 Alert Level Two. This includes Wairarapa and the Kapiti Coast. This alert level will remain in place until at least midnight on Sunday 27 June. The rest of New Zealand remains at Alert Level One. The change in alert levels follows a visitor from Australia, coming to Wellington last weekend, and then testing positive for COVID-19. What to do if you may have come into contact with the infected person While in Wellington the visitor went to a number of locations. The Ministry of Health has published a list of locations of interest - places the visitor went to and the time they were there. Anyone who visited any of these locations at the listed times should self-isolate and call Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice. It's easy to get complacent over this, but using the app is crucial in helping manage possible outbreaks of COVID-19, and avoiding greater restrictions.
