The beginning of June means the end of another great NAFSA Annual Conference! See a few highlights from Region IV:

Education Abroad Representative: Drew Dumas

Institution: University of Missouri

How long have you been involved with NAFSA?: About two years

How did you become interested in international education?: My study abroad advisor in university was John Wilkerson. When I was on exchange in New Zealand, I decided I didn't want to be a journalist and wanted to do what he did instead. He was kind enough to mentor me as I started out.

What are some of your goals with your new position?: Be more involved, bring information from other regions into this one, put experts in touch with our members through virtual workshops at different times during the year, stay informed of the newest developments in Education Abroad.

What is something on your bucket list?: I'd love to run with the bulls in Pamplona.
