It’s Time to #exploreBClocal

The most recent update from the province has got us feeling excited for a summer of responsible recreation!

As of May 25th, recreational travel within your region is encouraged (though restrictions on travel outside of health zone boundaries remain in place.) Recreational travel includes travel for vacations, weekend getaways, and tourism activities; visiting family and friends for social reasons; and recreation activities.

BC tourism businesses are open to local residents to experience in a safe and responsible manner, though it’s still not quite business as usual, so we recommend checking with the tourism businesses you aim to visit for the latest on-the-ground information. Get more information on BC's new Restart plan, including health zone boundaries.

Start planning your summer getaway now, for travel in Step 2 and beyond. Check out the latest Know Before You Go update and find a BLBCA member lodge best suited for your summer adventure needs!
