Sexual Problems in Young Cancer Survivors May Persist for Years
After cancer treatment, many survivors struggle with sexual dysfunction, including erectile dysfunction (ED) and painful intercourse.
Now, scientists suggest in a study that over half of younger survivors develop problems and that the issues can continue for over two years.
Women had more frequent problems than men did, they reported. Older people and those with steady partners were among other high-risk groups.
The study was published last fall in the journal Cancer. Get more details here.
Technology is a Key Component in Dating and Sex, Survey Finds
Have you ever used technology to find a romantic partner or hookup? How about an app that helps you track your sexual activity? Do you and your partner sext back and forth? Do you go online to learn more about sex?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, you're not alone. Last year, the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University and the women's health app Clue teamed up to survey over 140,000 adults in 198 countries about their use of tech for sex, dating, and relationships.
