Marina Bridge temporarily closes for repair works

The road over Gladstone Marina Bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from 5am on Tuesday, January 28 until 6pm on Saturday, February 1 for urgent maintenance works. Council had planned to open the road intermittently but a revision of the works has meant a total closure is required. Small vessels will still be able to pass underneath but tall vessels requiring the bridge to be lifted will not have access. Alternative road access is available via Alf O'Rourke Drive.
