Against the backdrop of adaptations, uncertainty, and pressures across various fronts, The Men’s Project has continued to engage with a range of audiences online to support folks through this time. Project Connect is in full swingWe are pleased to announce that our pilot program, Project Connect (formally Before it Starts) has kicked off again via an online platform with our two partner schools, Belle Vue Park Primary and Sunbury Heights Primary. All set for the upcoming 16 Days of Activism! We are excited to be engaging with a whole range of schools, councils, and community members during the 16 Days of Activism - Respect Women Call It Out campaign. We have presentations and webinars lined up with the City of Casey, City of Melbourne, and Mordialloc College to name a few. We are co-hosting a webinar with the City of Melbourne on ‘Pursuing healthier masculinities post pandemic ’. Moving ahead with Modelling Respect and Equality (MoRE)We are back delivering MoRE workshops that we have adapted to be delivered in the online world. We ran the first online workshop with Hobsons Bay Council last week and we will soon begin with the City of Melbourne. Our next workshop after that would be with the Shire of Mornington Peninsula. We have partnered with them as part of a pilot initiative funded by VicHealth. We’d love to hear from you at themensproject@jss.org.au |
