POIS Causes Flu-Like Symptoms After Orgasm
Symptoms of postorgasmic illness syndrome (POIS) can start within hours of orgasm and may last up to a week, researchers say.
Their recent Journal of Sexual Medicine study sought to characterize POIS, a condition that has not been widely studied.
Survey data from 302 men with POIS showed that difficulty concentrating, fatigue, and irritability were among the most common symptoms.
