ACE Program Develops Future Leaders

We are excited to again host summer interns from the Milwaukee Public Schools this year.  The State of Wisconsin's ACE Program is a great summer employment initiative that provides high school students with leadership training and learning opportunities.  ACE partners include the TSA, Cessna/Citation Service Center, Signature Flight Support, Paradies Gift Shops, 128th Air Refueling Wing, and General Mitchell International Airport.

Baggage Claim Project Almost Finished

Be sure to check out the progress we're making on our new Baggage Claim facility.  The $45 million project includes complete replacement of the baggage claim building, carousels, and roadway.  Three of the five new carousels are already open to the public, and workers are putting finishing touches on the glass canopy that extends over the roadway.  Watch for the installation of the green roof in the coming weeks.  The project is expected to wrap up next month!

Customer Service is Job #1 at MKE

Congratulations to Lonniece and Joseph, from Prospect Aviation Services, and Marina from Airport Administration.  Travelers were so impressed with their customer service, they nominated them for our customer service award. Nice job, folks!  If you receive outstanding customer service, you can nominate an employee at MitchellAirport.com.
