Scientists have developed models called nomograms to help doctors counsel men with prostate cancer. 

Some degree of erectile dysfunction (ED) is expected after radical prostatectomy - surgical removal of the prostate gland. But outcomes can be difficult to predict. 

Nomograms could provide an educated guess.
