1. A dozen cases and two dead in Listeria outbreak; Swiss officials suspect food

Authorities in Switzerland are investigating to find the source of a suspected foodborne outbreak of Listeria with 12 cases and two deaths.

2. Raw chicken link in multi-state salmonella outbreak

17.10.2018. USA. Salmonella

As of October 15, 2018, 92 people infected with the outbreak strain of Salmonella Infantis have been reported from 29 states. Of 62 people with information available, 34% have been hospitalized. No deaths have been reported.

Austria has become part of a multi-country Hepatitis A outbreak with 31 confirmed cases linked to frozen strawberries imported from Poland.
