Federal officials connected some of the dots in their investigation of an E. coli outbreak yesterday when they declared the outbreak over. It was one of three concurrent outbreaks linked to romaine lettuce in late 2019.

On Jan. 9, UK Environment Secretary Theresa Villiers signaled that any future Brexit trade negotiations with the U.S. will not include acceptance of chlorine-washed chicken or hormone-treated beef, according to a recent BBC report.
