Dear Usdan Community,
Today, September 25, is a Global Day of Climate Action. Last year around this time, I was in downtown Manhattan at the Global Climate Strike where I ran into many Usdan students and their parents and caregivers. I remember feeling so much positive energy about our mutual understanding that the only way forward for our children is in an environment that can support them.
Though I can’t be downtown today, I will be at Usdan walking the land with ReWild Long Island to strategize what we can do to further our integration into the natural environment.
If you want to deepen your commitment to taking action I encourage you to read Climate Disruption is Now Locked In. The Next Moves Will be Crucial, which states that the health of our children depends on “humanity’s willingness to take action.”
Below, I share with you the resources that I use to inform myself about the facts of the climate crisis and to learn how to take action.

Please reply to let me know if taking more action is your priority, and if you'd like to join Usdan in furthering our sustainability goals, which were written this year*.
With hope,
