Anti-bullying WeekNext week at AEA is Anti-Bullying Week. It is our strong belief that students will learn, grow and develop in an environment of mutual respect and tolerance. Each year we devote a whole week to raise awareness of bullying of children and young people and we try to highlight and find new ways of preventing and responding to it. During this week students will be involved in different activities, singing, creating art projects and participating in discussions connected with our theme. Be a buddy, NOT a bully! Reggio Emilia Approach ConferenceAt AEA the team trainings are happening during the entire year. Our Kindergarten team took part in the first Reggio Emilia Approach Conference in Bulgaria that was held in Varna. During a whole weekend the teachers, who are taking care for the youngest members of our community, were learning new techniques and how to adapt them to their current curriculum. We can only say that it was more than interesting, and they can’t wait to use what they have learned in practice! Soccer TournamentEach fall our Elementary and Middle School teams participate in a local soccer tournament organized by the Mayor of Lozen. We are happy to congratulate them on their great performance - second place for G1-4 boys and third place for G5-7 boys! MAP Test SessionOur October MAP testing session is coming up! Middle and High school students are scheduled to test the week of October 7-11, 2019 and Elementary students the week of October 14-18, 2019. In the event that a student has missed their pre-scheduled test date, make-up sessions have been organized from October 21-23, 2019. We trust in your cooperation that your child will attend their already scheduled test sessions. |
