It is our pleasure to share our latest project with you – and to extend a warm invitation to join:

AppGastein 2016

“Here to stay? Health apps and their place in European health systems”

This satellite to the EHFG 2016 is scheduled to take place on
Tuesday, 27 September, from 13:00 to 19.00,
in Bad Hofgastein, Austria.

Bringing the benefits of the EHFG to the health app and mHealth community.

The idea behind it: As yet, the health app sector has to find its place in European health systems – there are plenty of grey areas that still need to be mapped out.  This event plans to get those involved in the life-cycle of a health app, from developer to policy maker, to discuss:

• the place of health apps in healthcare systems.
• the importance of health apps to different health stakeholders.
• barriers to health app adoption.
• support for app developers.

Let's join forces, and explore in a relaxed atmosphere, where and how health apps fit in the modern healthcare world of empowered patients.

The European Health Forum Gastein provides an excellent venue to achieve this goal, since it is a meeting place for  representatives across the healthcare sector.
