Before you start in September, you should try to:
- Read up on your course
- Research your chosen subject
- Look up the types of careers you may want to do
- Find out more about the College’s designated Careers Zone - getting you ready for your future
- Think about if you need any materials or equipment for your course - if you need more information let us know
- What kind of extracurricular activities might you be interested in at College - you can view our extracurricular guide online and sign up at enrolment
Think about any questions you might want to ask your tutor at your New Student Event.
You will enhance your learning through guest speakers, visits, and our fantastic extracurricular offer, like our two-time Extracurricular Champion Dominika Bzdon, who won the 2019 national BTEC Sport Student of the Year Award. Dominika achieved Triple Distinction*, volunteered regularly at a local primary school and took part in 20 extracurricular activities while at College.
Jade Foster achieved Triple Distinction* in Sport and now studies Sports Science and Coaching at Accrington and Rossendale College.
