We are winding down an excellent spring season and we at E2E want to THANK each and everyone of you for what you do for our youth! It's amazing to see the level of impact youth sports has in our area, which is what inspired E2E to provide a year round opportunity for our kids. Yes, E2E Youth Sports will continue into the Fall through both football and cheerleading programs. It is also through partnerships, namely with Snoop Youth Football League, that we will take our fall participants to our National Championship in California this year. This exclusive E2E partnership allows us to represent Virginia on the WEST COAST. That's right LIGHTS, CAMERA, and we've got ACTION....Also don't forget the reality TV show pilot coming week 6. Let’s get it E2E FOOTBALL Family! #E2EFamily #WatchUsWork #WeWorkForYou #UniteVAA WORD FROM THE COMMISSIONERWeek 5 is in the books and this week I can not help but want to share the story of Devon Hill with the East End Tigers. I had the pleasure to witness the sharing of his story prior to check in last week. It was so rewarding to watch everyone come together in support of such an awesome kid. Please feel free to read about Devon below: Devon Hills Jr is an inspiration to all that know him and should be to everyone. Devon lost his mother, Tiffany Scott, to breast cancer in 2015. This was Devon's first season of flag football. While some would have given up, he pushes himself everyday to be a stand out student, athlete, and person. Jr, as he is called by friends and family, wears pink to practice and during games, to keep his mother with him. This is his way of having her close to him as he accomplishes his dreams. East End Tigers, with the help of the Virginia Vipers and E2E Board members, especially the Tigers 8u squad, wore pink to show Jr that blood doesn't have to make you family and that his Tiger Family and Football family, has his back as well as his father, Devon Hills Sr (Coach Dee's) back and we are here for them and support and love them. IT'S BIGGER THAN FOOTBALL!! Its stories like these that remind us of why we do this day in and day out. Thanks Teri Lowry of the East End Tigers for sharing Little Devon's story with us. #UnitedVA E2E IN THE NEWSWe take pride in helping kids in the community on and off the field.
