Call for New NSCM High-Impact We are pleased to announce a new one-year position funded by the UCF Office of the Quality Enhancement Program to help catalog current high-impact integrative learning opportunities, grow partnerships and develop a strategy for future growth in the area. UCF Honors Research Grants Deadline - July 20 The Burnett Honors College at UCF created a model whereby faculty, along with a community partner, are invited to submit grant proposals for collaborative projects that engaged students in research related to community-identified needs. This program is designed to develop faculty cohorts that offer a community rich with expertise and formulate best practices related to community-based research. Five awards of $1,000 will be made for 2018-2019, with the option of a $500 renewal for 2019-2020. Do You Know of a Great Graduation Story? UCF Communications would like your help identifying graduating students with compelling personal and/or professional stories that may be pitched to outside media prior to the UCF’s 2018 summer commencement. The student must be graduating this summer. Human Resources Trainings - July 11, 18 and 25 UCF Human Resources has a number of trainings available for employees. Click on the topics below to learn date and times of each session. Register via my.ucf.edu > Self Service > Learning and Development > Training Enrollment > Search by Course Code (e.g., PER201). If a workshop is waitlisted, register anyway, as seats often become available at the last minute. All workshops are held in the Human Resources Training Room, 3280 Progress Drive, Suite 100. Parking is free. UCF IT Support Contact Change Starting on Monday, July 9th the new contact number for the UCF IT team supporting College of Sciences faculty and staff will be 407-823-5117. UCF IT has extended hours for phone support, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The current number, 407-823-2793 will forward to the new extension while everyone adjusts to calling the new number.
