Name the dog competition - £100 prize
Disability Services has purchased a Black Dog statue for the University, a campaign which aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness and encourages people to seek help early, rather than suffering in silence. Once commissioned, our Black Dog will be sited at various different locations across the campus to maintain awareness. The only trouble is, he doesn't have a name.
We want to involve students and staff in raising awareness and helping change perceptions of mental illness - if you'd like to take part in this competition, email your suggestions for the dog's name to Disability Services (disability@dundee.ac.uk) by Friday 23 February - the winner will receive a £100 Amazon voucher.
Need some inspiration? Heriot Watt University has Watt Woof and the University of St Andrews has Harry.

Design Sprints with the Web Team
As part of the Web Team's continuing work on the new University website, they are undertaking a series of Design Sprints. These are fun, interactive sessions with students, staff, and other key audience members.
A Design Sprint is a structured ‘design thinking’ process that translates business objectives into actionable insights in just a few days. The aim of each Sprint is to fully understand a problem and generate design ideas as possible solutions.
