COVID-19 Update on Library Services

Under the current lockdown orders, Stanton Library remains closed to the public until further notice. Library Staff and Council's Pandemic Management team are watching closely for changes to restrictions and will plan services in accordance with advice from NSW Health.

Items on loan will not be due during this period, and no fees will be accrued. Reserved items will be held for you until the library reopens. Items can be returned through the after hours chutes at the front of the library building.

We understand that this is a very frustrating time, and that there are many in the community who are struggling without access to normal library services.

If you have items that are urgently needed, please contact Library staff to discuss other options. Home Library Service deliveries for housebound residents will continue throughout the library closure.

A number of online events are planned for September, including our ongoing Storytime sessions on Instagram. More details follow in this issue of the eNews.

Library staff are available to assist with eLibrary collections including eBooks, eAudiobooks, films, databases and activities for children. Email us, or phone Council on 9936 8100 to request a call-back,

Any updates to services will be announced on our website.
