Il Taglialegna (The Woodcutter) In Production

A crowd sourcing campaign is underway for The Woodcutter, and they’re off to a great start raising $2000 in just 24 hours.

This short is directed by Tommie McSweeney and is in production at Metro Screen as part of the Breaks – Story to Screen slate for 2013.

Call for expressions of interest

Rapid Prototype #3. Following the success of the 2012 program, Legs On The Wall is looking for more rough ideas, prototypes and short works in 2013. Rapid Prototypes are a low-key environment that place artists alongside audience for the purpose of testing out ideas and generating feedback at the early stages of a project.

This one weekend intensive will help you migrate from FCP to AVID Media Composer in just 2 days. If you want to work in Television you need AVID. It is the industry standard for multi-camera television productions and the preferred software of professional editors. Since the introduction of the prosumer software FCP X, and the discontinuation of FCP7, semi-professional editors are also moving towards using AVID. If you have a good understanding of FCP7 this course will help you transfer your skills across with expert tips and tricks and a working knowledge of industry standards. Soon you’ll be editing like a BOSS!

SHOWBOY is a short film about a young son whose greatest secret could mean the difference between showtime and survival starring Lucas Pittaway (Snowtown) directed by Samuel Leighton-Dore. This film is in production with the support of the Metro Screen Breaks – Story to Screen program.

Women Cinematographers Group Invites Membership
