WELCOME TO ISSUE [67] OF FABRICATE

Dear staff,

Fabricate is the official student newsletter at the Melbourne School of Design. You are receiving this email as a current student or staff member of the Faculty of Architecture Building and Planning. The cover image is of a woof garden at Maison de l'UNESCO in Paris. It was designed by Brazilian landscape architect (as well as a painter, print maker, ecologist, naturalist, artist and musician), Roberto Burle Marx whose designs of parks and gardens made him world famous. He is accredited with having introduced modernist landscape architecture to Brazil and was known as a modern nature artist and a public urban space designer.
