Science Fair in the Upper SchoolScience Fair in the Upper School took place last week. We are proud of our students who not only showed great research and presentation skills, but proved their leadership as well by exhibiting their work to Elementary students. Some of the projects presented were: "Disappearing Water", "Elephant Toothpaste", "Density Tower", "The Relation of Plate Color and People's Appetite", "Rainbow Milk", "Lemon Volcano", "What Makes a Paper Airplane Fly Far?", "How to Clean Your Dirty Copper Coins in 10 Minutes", "What Drink Stains Your Teeth Most?", "Balloon Popping Without Touching", "Potato Clock", and many others! Easter at AEAWe hope that you have enjoyed your holidays with family and friends. Both students and teachers did their best, as always, to decorate classrooms, halls, and outdoor spaces in the spirit of Easter. Eggs, bunnies, chicken, and Easter greetings can still be seen around the hallways. ART and S.T.E.A.M. ProjectsInspired by the beauty of the cherry blossoms and Mount Fuji in Japan, Middle School students took part in drawing a mural with Ms. Nevena on one of the school's windows. And, students in Ms. Martina's S.T.E.A.M. class had a fun experience capturing Stop Motion Animations! Grade 11 Bake SaleWe thank all Grade 11 students who put a lot of effort in organizing the Bake Sale last week bringing homemade cakes, Easter eggs, muffins, banitsa, and other treats to the enjoyment of all students, teachers, and staff.
