As you may have guessed, the next Toronto EmberJS meet-up is 7pm this Thursday (June 6) at Unspace HQ (342 Queen Street West, Floor 3).
Up first this month, Brennan and Nick from HitSend Inc. will walk through the latest additions they've rolled out to SoapBox. SoapBox, an innovation management tool, is being used by several large Toronto companies/brands including RBC, Chapters/Indigo, & Justin Trudeau. SoapBox has two Ember.js applications: a Facebook App (Em 0.9.8) and a Management tool (Em 1.0). Brennan and Nick will cover their setup, what worked, what didn't work, and what's left to do.
Jamie Gilgen is also going to walk us through her adventures in Ember while creating her freshly-minted Yoleo Reader project (which just made its debut today - congrats Jamie!)
Additionally, we're also going to have a mini-presentation from Mattia Gheda, wherein he will demo a simple ember application and show how he's using qunit and the newly introduced ember-testing package to do integration testing.
We've also got treats in drinkable form and ample patio space (if the ominous weather report proves false) at the ready for you to grab and gab between/after presentations.
Hope to see you there!
