Scholars to Leaders Event - August 28

The Club offers a unique opportunity to bring scholars together with academic and private-sector professionals who are specifically skilled in mentoring candidates through the preparation of applications to internationally renowned scholarship programs such as the Rhodes Scholarships, the Fulbright Scholarships, the Erasmus Mundus Scholarships, and Canada’s own Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships, Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships and Trudeau Doctoral Scholarships. Final Deadlines - Dean's PhD and MSc to PhD Transfer Awards

Dean Strong has announced the continuation of two graduate student support programs that are intended to encourage and recognize excellence in research at the graduate level within the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, at Western University. The call for applications is now open. The deadline for the PhD stipend application is August 31, and the MSc to PhD Transfer dealine is September 1. Read More

Wai Kong Law is currently a Schulich Medicine & Dentistry Postdoctoral Fellow in Medical Biophysics. His current research interests include low level vision, image processing, vascular segmentation, intracranial aneurysm detection, spinal image analysis and brain image registration.  Read More

This one-day conference introduces graduate students to teaching at Western and helps them prepare for their roles as TAs.
