New Cancer Institute NSW initiative: The Enduring Cancer Data Linkage for health services research in NSW (CanDLe) project
The Cancer Institute NSW has approval to provide de-identified, linked cancer registry, hospital, emergency department, death, cause of death and cancer screening (breast, cervical) data to health services researchers. Researchers wishing to access the data need to submit a brief protocol for review and approval by the CanDLe Community of Practice. No additional ethical or data custodian approval steps are necessary. The data will be uploaded to a secure, remote analysis environment (ERICA) that includes all relevant analytical software. Please see the CanDLe website for more details about the data and contact Prof Claire Vajdic if you have any questions.
