Member Highlight: Bri Jaskot by Jack Macy

What is an “ogul?” Just read on about our featured Member of the Month, Bri Jaskot as she shares more about this experience and many others. It was one of her big goals and highlights of 2020, and an aspirational goal for anyone who enjoys making their way to the top of peaks.

Missing Lucas - by Jenelle Potvin

The DPMR family lost one of our own on Christmas Eve. Lucas Horan (39) was taken from this life far too soon and has left a deep void in our hearts and on the trails. We send our deepest condolences to Lucas’s family and loved ones in the wake of this devastating loss.

DPMR Kids: Sports Injury Prevention - by Meggie Inouye

I had planned to publish this post a month ago but took a break from writing because, like most parents, I was busy creating the magic of the holidays. 2020 Peak Project Final Count - by Helen Pelster

26 community members recorded 203 summits for our first-ever Truckee Tahoe Peak Project!

November 5, 2020, was the last day before snow blanketed the higher peaks in our corner of the Sierras. I barely squeezed in summits of Tinker Knob and Anderson to complete all 20 on the list.
