Also, a big thank you to all our SRC members and staff who attended as well. The extra- ordinary P&C Meeting attracted a number of new faces who were keen to learn about the proposed Anti-Bullying strategies our Student Wellbeing Team has been developing. The presentation was very informative and I thank Mr Schouten for delivering the presentation. The feedback received has provided the Team with ways to move forward and ensure that all of stakeholders clearly understand the processes we are striving to achieve. There are a number of sporting events happening in the coming weeks, swimming, volleyball, futsal in which some of students would be representing the school. Congratulations on being selected! International Women's Day BreakfastThank you to all staff and students who attended the International Women's Day breakfast. Eating and Travelling to JapanStudents in Mrs Nosworthy's Eating and Travelling around the World class made the Japanese treat: Pocky! North West Learning Hubs UpdateLearning Hubs are now operating in three locations throughout the North-West region: Tamworth and Uralla, as well as the new Hub in Gunnedah. We have students from Years 7-12, and continue to receive new enrolments at all venues. In each of the hubs we aim to create a positive learning environment and safe space in which students feel valued as individuals. The unique facilities promote a relaxed atmosphere which is beneficial for all who attend. Students can use their phones to swipe on in the mornings, however they are reminded of our mobile phone rules:
If a student breaks the rules, they will be issued a red slip and consequently visit the Deputy for repercussions. Notices from the local community. Click on an image to see a larger version. |
