Welcome to the second edition of 'The Voice of the Coast' – your quarterly update from RDACC. So much has happened since I last wrote to you! It was my honour to chair the first meeting of the new RDACC board last month. With almost half of our board being newly-elected members, we’ve achieved an ideal balance of enthusiasm and experience, with many fresh ideas for our region ahead.

$4.6M Plan to Connect Local CommunitiesWe welcomed the NSW Government's announcement of $4.6 million towards a permanent pathway to connect five of our spectacular coastal communities.
Chefs Take Top HonoursExecutive Chef Alex Patterson and Head Chef Kurt Sonneman from Club Toukley RSL have again been named the best in NSW, after taking out top honours in 'Chef's Table' - the club industry’s most prestigious cooking competition. Congratulations to these local food ambassadors!
Showcasing Amazing Food Producers Across the CoastIn our 'Business Showcase' series, we've been highlighting some of the many producers, manufacturers and entrepreneurs who are helping to grow the Central Coast as a coveted food destination. So far, we've said hello to Mingara Recreation Club, Young Barons, Casa De Cha, Empire's D'Lite and Fiatarone Farms (pictured).
