STFM Strategic Plan Update UnderwayThe Society of Teachers of Family Medicine has embarked on an update of its Strategic Plan for 2020–2025. As part of the process, the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) will assess the previous goals and strategies and the achievements of the organization in relation to the current plan. The SPC will also review results of extensive data collected from the STFM member needs survey, interviews with current and past
members, a staff survey, and SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analyses performed by each STFM Standing Committee.

- Streamlined functionality for conference submission, registrations, and membership renewals
- User-friendly options for researching account history and personal receipts
During the weekend of December 15-16, members may note that some functionality is offline as the website conversion takes place, including
the STFM store, conference registration, membership renewals, and access to member profiles. Member-only areas, such as the National Clerkship Curriculum, Residency Accreditation Toolkit, and the Residency Curriculum Resource may be offline for a brief period of time as well. Once the website is fully launched, STFM members will receive an email with instructions on how to access the new site.
National Meeting on Increasing Investment in Primary CareFamily Medicine for America's Health (FMAHealth), in collaboration with the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative, held the first national conversation on increasing investment in primary care on November 9, 2018. Payers, employers, clinicians, consumers, and legislators worked together to determine how to increase investment in primary care in as many states as possible over the next few years. Attendees also heard
from Alex Azar, secretary of Health and Human Services, about how the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation would move forward with alternative primary care payment models.

for having the most graduates entering family medicine residency programs in the past decade. The University of North Dakota had 18.9% of graduates enter family medicine residency programs and East Carolina University had 18.8%.
