Smith and PartnersSINCE 1988

Dear ,

As we welcome spring’s arrival, we’re delighted to announce the promotion of four of our solicitors. Samantha Curtis, Jason Carruthers and Lesley Thomson have all been promoted to Associate. Seasoned Litigator, Ilsaad Razak has been promoted to Senior Associate.

It was an extremely exciting quarter for Samantha and Jason, after being promoted to the role of Associate; we sent them off for a week at Outward Bound in the Marlborough Sounds.

But the thing we’re most excited about is the launch of the inaugural Smith and Partners Law Scholarships. We’re giving away over $4000 worth of prizes to West Auckland secondary students
  Smith and Partners
as part of our commitment to helping grow and develop West Auckland business and community. Applications close October 17th, to learn more about the scholarship go to our website www.smithpartners.co.nz/lawscholarship

In this quarter’s newsletter you’ll learn about some of your legal obligations and entitlements in various areas of your life – whether you’re a director of a company, an ‘officer’ for a charitable trust, a commercial landlord or a person who has recently separated from your spouse or partner.

We hope you enjoy our newsletter, and if there are any particular topics you’d like to see covered in our next newsletter, we’d love to hear from you at newsletter@smithpartners.co.nz. You can also read more articles online at our website www.smithpartners.co.nz
