For decades now, sports franchises and venues have been engaging in community outreach and activation. It is only recently, however, that a focus on the environment and sustainability has emerged in these efforts. Many teams and venues now have well-developed programs around the environment in their local communities, reaching new fans, sponsors, and most importantly, making a positive impact.
On this webinar, we’ll hear from a league, team, and venue on how their greening efforts are extending to their respective communities—NHL Green and its league-wide efforts; the Philadelphia Phillies’ “Red Goes Green” Day and ongoing community platform; and BBVA Compass Stadium’s broader efforts with the support of AEG.
