Miami Nonstops and Caribbean Connections
American Airlines is adding nonstop service between Milwaukee and Miami beginning November 7, 2020. The new route opens new connections to Latin America and the Caribbean. The flights will be offered every Saturday through April 4, 2021. Miami is American’s largest international hub, and this route gives Wisconsin travelers new access to dozens of exciting international markets.
Fly United Nonstop to Florida!
If Florida is calling your name this winter, United Airlines is also adding nonstop flights from Milwaukee to Fort Myers and Tampa. The new daily service begins December 17. The flights will be operated with full-size Airbus A319 aircraft, featuring in-flight Wi-Fi and First, Economy Plus, and Economy seating. Book your tickets now.
Bronzeville Crossing Now Open!
Next time you fly through MKE, check out Bronzeville Crossing! It’s the latest retail shop to open as part of a major refresh at the Airport. Located post-security on Concourse C, Bronzeville Crossing will source local products from Milwaukee County neighborhoods. A special thank you to the County Executive, the Milwaukee County Board Chairwoman, and the other distinguished guests who joined us for the grand opening event.
Gallery of Flight, USO Lounge Open in New Locations
It's official! The Mitchell Gallery of Flight and the adjacent USO Lounge are now open in their new pre-security locations. The Gallery of Flight is a free and non-profit aviation museum open 24-7. The USO Lounge is open daily and provides a comfortable space for military members and their families. The special grand reopening event featured remarks by the Milwaukee County Executive, a color guard presentation, and tours inside the new spaces.

Travel may look a little different during the COVID-19 pandemic, but our commitment to your safety and well-being remains a top priority. MKE has implemented several safety procedures to limit physical contact and promote social distancing to the greatest extent possible. Face coverings are required at MKE and onboard aircraft. Did You Mask Up With The Mascots?
Some of Milwaukee's beloved sports mascots stopped by MKE for 'Mask Up With The Mascots!' last month. The event promoted the use of face coverings while giving travelers the opportunity to take fun and socially distanced photos with Bernie Brewer and Roscoe from the Milwaukee Admirals. Hand washing is a very important skill to have...and so is lip-syncing to Baby Shark! Luckily, our Airport Fire Department knows how to do both simultaneously. If you need a smile or a refresher on hand washing, check it out!

When U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Katie Sokolowski returned home from serving 13 months overseas, her husband was waiting at MKE to greet her. Another passenger who spotted the heartwarming reunion immediately started recording. Thanks to the power of social media, MKE was able to help get the video to the couple.
