Sexual Dysfunction Highest 6 Weeks After Head & Neck Cancer Treatment
Rates of sexual dysfunction may spike, then fall, after treatment for head and neck cancers.
In a recent Oral Oncology study, scientists reported that 60% of 354 patients had "less sexuality" six weeks after treatment.
The authors defined sexuality as sexual interest and enjoyment.
However, the percentage fell to 37% at a 12-month follow up.
