Dear Usdan Community,
A dear friend has been struggling with Covid for well over a week. Though eight months have passed since local spread of this virus started, the first time I am witnessing it is now.
Many of you have had this experience. You know how it dominates your thoughts. You wake up wondering: How was her night? All day, you think: How is she? What can I do? Though the feeling stinks, it’s probably 1% as terrible as how you feel when the virus takes over.
A yoga teacher used to say something I never understood until now: we are all connected, and what connects us all is the air that we share. Covid proves it. Good choices will help you, and the great thing about helping yourself is the bonus feature of simultaneously helping others.
Our Usdan community is a regional community crossing all of Long Island and NYC, and some of our readers are even in other states. Let us take this moment to dig in even deeper, to protect ourselves, our neighbors, and our community.
