Food Day!

Interested in food justice? The folks involved with the Real Food Challenge want to bring Food Day to Tufts! Food day, which takes place on October 24th, is a “nation-wide celebration and a movement for healthy, affordable, sustainable food”. Universities and student groups across the country, as well as local non-profits, restaurants and public schools participate in Food Day by hosting different types of awareness events, including pot-luckdinners, movie screenings, lecture series, etc. to bring awareness to this important movement. If you want to be a part of bringing this amazing national event to Tufts this year, be sure to check out the meeting Tuesday (Tomorrow!) at 8:30 in Eaton 333. (right before TSC! Perfect!)

Fossil Fuel Event Reminder!

Don't forget, coming up on Thursday Oct. 3, 7:30pm in Cabot's ASEAN Auditorium, Rob Hopkins of the Transition Network will be giving a presentation: The Transition away from fossil fuels towards… Resilience.  Mayor Michael A. McGlynn, City of Medford, and Mayor Lisa A. Wong, City of Fitchburg, will be respondents.
