At the Summit, WOMMA will unveil the results of an ambitious, groundbreaking research initiative on the ROI of Word of Mouth and Social Media. This study has been sponsored by a leading group of brands and agencies, including AT&T, Discovery Communications, Intuit, NBC Universal, Pepsico, and Weight Watchers. The ROI study is being conducted by Analytic Partners, one of the foremost companies in the marketing analytics field, and overseen by Sequent Partners. The study will address such mission critical key points as:

* What is the value of a consumer conversation?

* Guidelines for the most effective use of word of mouth/social media

* Best practices for measuring and modeling WOM

Ed Keller to be Inducted into the Word of Mouth Marketing Hall of Fame

At the WOMMA Summit, the the Word of Mouth Marketing Hall of Fame will honor its first three inductees, including our own Ed Keller.  Ed's fellow honorees are Nestle’s Global VP of Digital and Social Media, Pete Blackshaw; and Dave Balter, founder of BzzAgent and presently global head of investments for dunnhumby and CEO of Smarterer.  It will be a time to celebrate and take stock of all that has happened in social marketing in the ten years since WOMMA was founded, and a look to the future and what’s coming next.
