The Nan Manefield
Young Writers' Award Entries close Friday 1 May! Do you love to write short stories or poems? Enter the Nan Manfield Young Writers' Award for the chance to win great prizes and attend a writing masterclass with award winning authors. Anyone aged 11-18 years can submit a poem or short story of 750 words or less. The competition is judged by authors and poets, with prizes totalling over $2000.

Become a volunteer guide at Sexton’s Cottage Museum
Do you have an interest in local history and enjoy meeting new people?
Our volunteer guides introduce visitors to the museum and grounds, as well as sharing the story of North Sydney’s unique heritage. Sexton’s Cottage is set within the picturesque grounds of St Thomas Rest Park in Crows Nest.
