Meet Calvin MujieCalvin is a graduate of our Master of Teaching (Primary). After spending time in the Banking and IT industry, Calvin made a change and decided to follow his passion by studying teaching with us. He found that the clinical teaching model has prepared him to always seek evidence about what his students are ready and able to learn, and to tailor his teaching style depending on observations in the classroom. Learn more about Calvin's experience. Graduate Study ExpoOn Wednesday 23 May, MGSE will take part in the University of Melbourne's Graduate Study Expo. From 4 to 7pm on campus, you'll be able to meet with our staff to chat through your graduate study options. Did you know?When on placement during the Master of Teaching, there are a range of professionals in place to support you and help you make the most of your experience. Below are three key support roles: Clinical Specialist: An MGSE academic who provides the key link between theory, coursework and practice. They'll observe you on your placement and you can approach them with any issues you may have. Teaching Fellow: A school based teacher / early childhood professional who mentors and oversees in-school experiences. Based in the base schools of each placement school group, they spend one day a week looking after and coordinating teacher candidates. Mentor Teacher: Classroom practitioners assigned to look after you. You'll teach and observe their classes every day during your placements.
