NAFSA REGION IV:  All-Region Summit Grants 2021

NAFSA Region IV All-Region Summit Grants are financial support for Region IV international educators with demonstrated need.   

The general grants cover the cost of full All-Region Summit registration.

There will be 5 grants issued for the All-Region Summit, 1 for each state in Region IV (Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, and South Dakota.)

All-Region Summit grants cover the full Summit registration but do not cover costs for special events or workshops.

Individuals awarded a grant will receive a special registration code to use when they register for the Summit.

If you are chosen for a grant you will be contacted by NAFSA Region IV Leadership with the registration code sometime during the week of September 27th.

NAFSA Region IV Awards and Recognition

NAFSA Region IV is seeking nominations for our Regional Awards that will be presented during this year’s All-Region Summit!

In past years, we have received very few nominations so we would encourage you to please take the time to nominate one of your colleagues. As we navigate these difficult times of serving various stakeholders within the field, a “pat on the back” will be appreciated by all those who are nominated and chosen to receive these awards. This is a way that you can have a positive impact on someone’s life as they are recognized for their achievements in the field of International Education! Nominate! Nominate! Nominate!

2021 NAFSA ALL-REGION SUMMIT:  October 04 through October 22

The combined virtual event will be housed on one platform where attendees can access region-specific content, as well as all-region shared activities and events. This first-ever combined online event will broaden learning and engagement across all regions.

Looking to boost your knowledge and involvement in IE? Join NAFSA’s Academy for International Education!

Learn about the benefits of being a participant of NAFSA’s Academy for International Education by visiting www.nafsa.org/academy 

Applications are now being accepted for the Academy Class 19 in 2022 through November 15, 2021.

The Academy for International Education is a comprehensive year-long program designed to broaden the perspectives of those who are new to the international education field, as well as those who've recently had international education added to their professional responsibilities.

Guided by a seasoned international education coach and working with a cohort of peers in small groups, the program is designed to meet specific learning needs.

Consider applying for Academy Class 19 or encourage any interested peers or new professionals to submit an application to the NAFSA Academy for International Education by November 15, 2021.
