• Third Sector and New Philanthropy Capital will hold their charity impact measurement conference on 16 October in London, UK.

• An interesting debate on social impact bonds is taking place in the US following Goldman Sachs and McKinsey moving into this space. Read the Wharton School's take here, and a good Forbes post here.  

• SIAA member the Centre for Social Impact held its inaugural Social Finance Forum to discuss the latest developments in Social Investment Bonds in Australia and overseas. 

• The Hewlett Foundation's Fay Twersky urges emerging philanthropists to consider impact in an open letter in Alliance Magazine.  

• In the UK, Inspiring Impact is asking charities and social entrepreneurs about their access to impact tools. Contribute to the survey here.

Linda Midgley is the Assistant Manager of PwC Netherlands. Through their Sustainability and Responsible Governance department they provide services including creating shared value, measuring value (impact analysis) and integrated reporting.

Linda has experience with both quantitative and qualitative impact measurement, in particular using econometric methodologies including difference in differences and SROI. Her focus is on the link between impact, organisational strategy and integrated reporting.
