CONGESTION REDUCTION PROJECT LAUNCHES

PILOT: The Region of Peel has begun testing an initiative to see how well shifting fleet delivery times to off-peak hours can reduce carbon and improve delivery time reliability. TAF provided funding for this project and we are optimistic it will help improve the health of people and the resilience of communities in Peel and beyond.

LOW CARBON CITIES CANADA RECEIVES FUNDING

NATIONAL FUNDING: We’re very grateful for the federal government’s $183 million support of the Low Carbon Cities Canada initiative, received through a recent budget allocation to the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund. We’re proud our funding model and strong impact over the decades inspired this national initiative. Over the next few months, we’ll be working with our partners to put necessary agreements and processes in place to help deepen TAF's impact in the GTHA.
