What is something people wouldn’t know about your business?
The absolute generosity of employers, who open their businesses to teach young people about their industry.

What has recently happened at your organisation?
SCIPS manages an annual School Leaver Event, where employers are invited to meet with school leavers and represent their industry with employment opportunities.
This event was an opportunity for employers to speak with 700 registered students personally about prospects in their industry, opportunities for casual, p/t and f/t positions and advice on how to position themselves better in their field of choice.

What have you learnt lately?

What do you hope to achieve in your industry?
It is my hope that each new cohort of parents and their young people have greater awareness of the support that is available when leaving school.

What are your words of wisdom?
Surround yourself with smart people.
