Welcome to the November issue of our customer newsletter Pure Vantage, keeping you, our customers and enthusiasts, updated on everything that's happening here at Vantage Motorhomes.
First of all, we have some thankyous to make! Our thanks go to everyone who visited us at the NEC show or at our Factory Open Days last month. October is a very hectic month and an important one. We’re looking ahead at our build schedule for 2024 and the show is an important time for welcoming new owners and spending time with them to make the best choices to suit their needs and preferences.
A big thank you also goes to my team who go above and beyond to make our events a success. Being at events and away from home is part of the job but we don’t take it for granted. We have a bit of fun at the beginning of each day (see below) and, once the doors open, it’s the best part of our job, talking to customers and owners.
If you didn’t get to the show or to one of our Factory Open Days, you can book a Factory Tour and you are very welcome anytime. We really recommend it. It’s a great way to get to know everything about our motorhomes and campervans and to meet some of the team. That’s the team who will be building your vehicle – to your specifications - and looking after you for years to come.

If you didn’t make it to the show last month - perhaps Storm Babet spoiled your plans - we’ve got all the details for the next big show. Yes, we’re already planning for February.
Tickets are already on sale for the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show (13-18th February 2024) following a record attendance of 106,131 at the October NEC Show.

If you’re planning ahead you might like to pencil in details of our next Factory Open Days. We always do an event the weekend after the NEC shows, so that’s in October and February. The next Open Days will take place on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th February. Pop it into your diary now and get in touch in the new year to confirm your spot. Booking is recommended. If you’d like more info, or if you can’t wait and would like to book a Factory Tour before the end of the year, please get in touch.
We always have a free draw for an electric bike on our stand at the shows.

New President Hamza Yassin
We promise, it’s not an excuse to sneak another mention of Strictly, purely coincidence!
Meet The Camping and Caravan Club’s new Club President, wildlife broadcaster and Strictly Come Dancing champion, Hamza Yassin! Hamza is passionate about nature and conservation, and he's excited to inspire people to enjoy and protect the natural world. He's the perfect fit for the role, and the Club is thrilled to have him on board.
Hamza says, "I'm really pleased to have been appointed President of the Club and to follow in the footsteps of so many accomplished people. We share the same passion for inspiring people to actively enjoy – and help look after – the natural world. Camping puts us right on the doorstep of the countryside and gives us a unique gateway to exploring our incredible outdoor spaces."
A huge shout out goes to the outgoing President, Julia Bradbury, for her decade of service.

Have you seen our virtual tours?
Our new stand with our Campervans, the Fuze and the Luna, was a big hit at the show. More and more people are finding out that they can now have a Vantage pop-top which has belted seating for five and can sleep four.

Dave says, ‘We have something a little different this month. We have secured a small consignment of Peugeot Boxer base vans. Beneath its skin the Boxer is essentially the same as the Fiat Ducato and that means it’s very well suited to our Vantage conversion process. They are already at our factory and will be available for delivery January or February 2024. The Boxer’s payload ratings are among the best of any 3.5-tonne van and fuel economy is genuinely impressive.’
We have four conversions on the Peugeot base:
*CUB *NEO *MED *SOL

Our Peugeot Boxer base vans are 165bhp / 2179cc with manual gearbox. They come in Thunder Grey paintwork with 16″ steel wheels with TPMS.
They also come with the Peugeot Mega Pack. This includes the following features. DAB antenna in the exterior mirror, USB charging port, chrome look for the instrument cluster, beverage holder and holder for smartphone / tablet, passenger airbag, 90 litre diesel tank, heated exterior mirrors, swivel captain chairs, LED daytime running lights, control buttons for radio on steering wheel, aluminium finish to dashboard, automatic lights and automatic windshield wipers, fog lights, air conditioning, speed controller and body-coloured bumper.
The CUB’s living area converts to either two single beds or one super king size bed in seconds. There is also a fully-accessorised washroom with basin, shower and toilet. It is equipped with a full oven / grill and 3-burner gas hob and a 12v compressor fridge / freezer.
The conversion will include leather-trimmed upholstery, flyscreen for the sliding door, Fiamma awning, TV aerial and booster, Avtex TV, DAB radio with Apple Carplay and Android.
At just 5.4 metres it’s very compact and easy to drive yet packed with comfort. Check it out on our website or email Dave for more information.
Also on the Peugeot Boxer is this SOL at just under 6 metres.
The SOL has our popular wrap-around rear lounge that converts to two single beds or one super king size bed. The front swivel seats create a small dinette that allows the rear bed to remain in-situ if required. The kitchen is equipped with a full oven / grill and 3-burner gas hob, low energy 12v compressor fridge / freezer, plenty of storage, and the worktop flaps create additional work space, and the fully-equipped washroom with basin, shower and toilet gives you total independence.

Where next?
Planning a trip in the UK and looking for some inspiration? We spotted an article in Practical Motorhome with their pick of the top UK road trips. Some of them are well known to many of our owners, particularly Scotland’s North Coast 500.
There are a number of classic routes too, including the A66 in the Lake District, the Coastal Way in Wales, the Causeway Route in Northern Ireland, and in the south of England, the A272 in Sussex.

Pets on Tour, Part Two
We had such a busy newsletter last month we had to hold back some of your Pets on Tour photos. Here we go…
Caroline says, ‘This is Paddington’s first trip in the van and he’s loving it! Paddington is being trained to be a PAT therapy dog’. Glad to see he fits so nicely in the CUB Caroline!
