Department Highlights

Congratulations!

The Department of Pediatrics team has earned many accomplishments recently.

One of our own was selected as a UF Research Foundation Professor; another faculty member received the inaugural David A. Paulus Award for Clinical Excellence; Hyundai Hope on Wheels awarded a grant to another faculty member; and yet another received an award from the Bayer Hemophilia Awards Program. The Children's Miracle Network also announced its discovery and pilot or research awards, as well as its new scholar award.

Education and Health Care Transition Certificate Program Now Accepting Applications

The University of Florida’s Education-Health Care Transition (EdHCT) Certificate Program is excited  to announce the beginning of its second year. It is currently recruiting health science graduate students who are interested in the transition of youth with special healthcare needs from pediatric to adult care, and from adolescence to adulthood.

The program was developed collaboratively between the College of Medicine and the College of Education and is hosted by the College of Education.  Students in the certificate program include both those in the health sciences and those in the field of education.
