Healthy Tip: Relax with Lavender Oil |

According to aromatherapists, lavender is the most versatile essential oil because of its many healing
properties. In addition to being used to improve insomnia, depression, and skin disorders, lavender is a
wonderful anti-stress aid. Rub a drop of essential oil directly onto your temples for headache or stress
relief.
For a relaxing and healing bath, as well as dry skin relief, add several drops of lavender oil to your
bathwater. You can also use a diffuser with lavender oil to help reduce stress. |

It was July 5, 1970, when 100 runners assembled at the old Sears parking lot at Peachtree and Roswell roads in Atlanta. They would come to be known as the “Original 110” and the first to run the 6.2-mile course to what is now Piedmont Park for the inaugural Peachtree Road Race.
Now, 43
years later, there are more than 60,000 participants in this world famous race. This year our very own Rosina Navarro ran the race, finishing at 1.08.20, even surprising herself with that time!
Rosina started out as a customer of ThinNow before joining our staff. She lost 50 pounds in two rounds of the HCG Diet in early 2012 and has kept it off. Her next goal was to run the Peachtree Road Race, a celebrated Fourth of July Atlanta tradition.
Rosina says, “If it hadn’t been for dropping the weight and being able to keep it off, I wouldn’t have been fit enough to run and would not have participated. This is a dream come true!”
