Service Learning Artifacts - June 21 The Office of Experiential Learning has requested service-learning artifacts from the 2016-2017 academic year to assist with UCF’s submission of the Florida Campus Compact Award Application - Engaged Campus of the Year Award category. If you have any artifacts (e.g., narratives, pictures, data, etc.) from any of your service-learning courses you have taught this year, please forward this information to Shameika Daye by 5 p.m., Wednesday, June 21. Performance Appraisals - June 21 Learn all about UCF's appraisal process during a Human Resources training session from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21 in the UCF Human Resources - Innovative Center: Training Room. Topics include: benefits and multiple uses of appraisals, UCF procedures for USPS and A&P, how to make the process faster/easier, what and how to document and how to set SMART goals with your staff. This workshop is limited to current supervisors of USPS and A&P eligible staff. Learn how to simplify your life during a UCF Human Resources workshop from 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 21 in the UCF Human Resources - Innovative Center: Training Room. This training will discuss: how to recognize that modern life is causing you stress, why keeping things simple can help you focus on what you love, ways to prioritize what really matters to you and tips to simplify your life. What's Next: Integrative Learning Scholarship - Due July 1 Students are encouraged to explore opportunities to build real-world experience at UCF and choose the experiences that will connect to their coursework and to their future goals. In order to support this goal, the Quality Enhancement Plan is offering the What’s Next: Integrative Learning Scholarship for the 2017-18 Academic Year. This scholarship awards up to $1,000 for the fall 2017 semester for students who demonstrate excellence in integrative learning (not to exceed the financial cost of attendance). Knights of Distinction Knights of Distinction participate in exclusive workshops, networking opportunities, one-on-one mentoring and get individualized portfolios.
